Overview
These two connected 45-minute lessons introduce kindergarten writers to stating a clear preference and then adding one reason to support it. Lesson 1 focuses on saying and drawing or writing an opinion. Lesson 2 builds on that work by adding a matching reason. Use the worksheet passage supplied separately only as directed; this plan does not reproduce or create a student reading passage.
