Description
Overview
These two connected 45-minute Grade 2 writing lessons move students from taking simple research notes to editing a short research paragraph. Lesson 1 uses the worksheet-supplied source passage; students record brief facts rather than copying full sentences. Lesson 2 uses students' notes and a worksheet-supplied draft to practice editing capitals, spelling, and punctuation. No separate student reading passage is included in this plan.
