Description
Overview
These two connected 45-minute Grade 5 Language Arts lessons use the worksheet-supplied multi-chapter informational or narrative text as the shared reading source. Lesson 1 focuses on how narrator perspective shapes what readers learn and how events are presented. Lesson 2 builds on that work by having students create an objective, evidence-based summary of the complete multi-chapter text. No student passage is reproduced in this plan.
