Description
Overview
These two connected 45-minute Grade 7 foundational reading lessons use the teacher-provided worksheet passage as the only reading text. Lesson 1 focuses on analyzing precise language and figurative word choices in context. Lesson 2 builds from that analysis by having students use punctuation, syntax, word patterns, and meaning to read the same increasingly complex passage aloud with appropriate accuracy, rate, phrasing, and expression.
